About SignalRoute

Enterprise-grade quality — built for homes and small businesses.

We spent our careers holding large commercial and enterprise work to an exacting standard. SignalRoute exists to bring that same standard — documented installs, honest pricing, and work we're proud to put our name on — to homes and small businesses across Louisville Metro and surrounding Kentucky.

Who we are

Locally owned. Locally run. Locally accountable.

SignalRoute is two technicians with a combined 20+ years in the industry. We spent our careers on the large-scale commercial and enterprise side, where the standards for quality, documentation, and care are exacting — and we took real pride in meeting them. Along the way, we kept noticing the same thing: homeowners and small businesses were left out. Too often they were paying for work that didn't come close to that standard, handled by whoever cared more about the invoice than how the system actually worked or looked.

We started SignalRoute to close that gap. Our belief is simple: enterprise-grade quality and service shouldn't be priced out of reach just because it's a house or a small shop. Every install should be something the customer — and we — can be genuinely proud of, without paying an arm and a leg for it.

That means being versatile. We work to get you the best possible equipment and service for what you're looking to spend — matched to your budget, not an inflated number that doubles by the end of the project. We're as transparent as we can be, we communicate directly at every step, and we stand behind our work and the products we recommend.

Most of all, we're here for the long run. We'd rather earn a customer for life than close a one-time job — the kind of relationship a local technician should be able to build. One of us is based in Louisville Metro, the other in the Elizabethtown / Radcliff area, so the communities we serve aren't a line on a map. They're home.

What we believe

Four things we don't compromise on.

These came out of jobs we walked into where another vendor had cut a corner. They're the reasons SignalRoute exists.

01

Your system, not ours.

A system you can't service without us isn't your system — it's ours, and we've just rented it to you. We hand over documentation, credentials, and configuration so anyone qualified can pick up where we leave off. If you ever change vendors, your system goes with you.

02

No surprises after we leave.

The system that works on day one but fails on day ninety isn't a system — it's a sales pitch. We design with capacity headroom, document configuration changes, and test what we install before we say it's done. Surprises later are usually the result of corners cut now.

03

One team, top to bottom.

Walk-in, scope, design, install, support. Same people. We don't subcontract the cabling guy and the cameras guy and then leave you sorting out who's responsible when something doesn't talk. One number, one accountable contact, end to end.

04

Honest scope, honest price.

We quote what the project needs — not what we'd prefer to sell. If a smaller system fits the use case, we'll spec the smaller system. If a brand we don't typically install is the right fit, we'll install that brand. The recommendation isn't biased by what's easier or more profitable for us.

Credentials

Trained on what we install most.

Every manufacturer we install regularly has a training and certification track. We've completed the ones for the platforms we deploy most — so we're the ones programming, not Googling, when something needs configuring.

Alarm & Monitoring

ESA Certified Alarm Technician through the Electronic Security Association.

Access & Smart Entry

Factory-trained on the access-control and smart-lock platforms we install.

Networking & Wi-Fi

Ubiquiti certified for network and Wi-Fi deployments.

Kentucky low-voltage license · Liability insured · ESA-certified alarm shop

What working with us looks like

From the first call to the last service visit.

No sales reps, no scripts. The person who picks up the phone is the person who walks the building, scopes the project, and runs the install.

The first call

You call or message; we listen. Most projects start with a 10-minute conversation about what you're trying to accomplish — not a pitch.

The walkthrough

We come to you, see the property, and ask the questions that shape the quote. No charge, no obligation, no high-pressure close.

The install

One team, owner on-site for most jobs. Daily updates if we're there multiple days. Clean as we go, not at the end.

After turnover

Documentation handed over. Same number to call when you need help. Your project doesn't get filed and forgotten.

Let's talk about your project.

Whether you're scoping a new build, replacing a system that wasn't installed right the first time, or just wondering what we'd do differently — reach out.
